Our gazebo and cook out facilities are located out our back door next to the mile long city parks river walk. Directions to the First Inn
The First Inn of Pagosa is located along the banks of the San Juan River and in downtown Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
Directions to the First Inn from the West: From Durango, CO take Hwy 160 East about 60 miles into and a couple blocks past downtown Pagosa Springs.
Directions to The First Inn from the North: Follow US Hwy 285North/Hwy 84 for about 2 hours from Santa Fe, New Mexico. At Chama, New Mexico turn left onto Hwy 84 about 45 minutes to junction of Hwy 84 and Hwy 160. Turn left on Hwy. 160 and we are the first motel on the right.
Airport: We have one airport in Pagosa Springs, Stevens Field. The airport is capable of handling aircraft up to 16,000 pounds.

Pagosa Springs enjoys a moderate four-season climate 300 plus sunny days per year and very little wind. The spring and Summers are cool, and comfortable. The annual precipitation is 18 inches.
In the Summer, waterski and fish on Navajo Lake, an un-crowded 31 miles of water stretching into New Mexico or discover the mystique of the Southwest Native American culture at Chimney Rock, an ancient archaeological site. Four Corners Folk Festival
August 29-31 – Don’t miss out on this fabulous event full of folk, acoustic, and bluegrass music. Four Corners Cup Mountain Bike Points Series
September 23 – This is an annual bike race that is held just 10 miles outside of town in the Turkey Springs area. It’s the final race of the Four Corners Cup and cash prizes are awaiting each winner. Registration is only $20 if you sign up before Sept. 20th.
